Management of rental properties in the Disney area is a niche business and different owners have different needs:
- The absentee owner will require a local management company to, at the very least, maintain their property: i.e., lawn care, pool maintenance, house cleaning, key pickup and meet and greet.
- Some owners want the management company to provide bookings for their home as well as maintenance. This can be either exclusively or with owner participation in providing a portion of the rentals.
- Other buyers prefer to do their own bookings entirely.
The first thing to understand is that, on your own, it takes a lot of time (1-2 years?) to find out how to successfully navigate the challenges in purchasing and owning a holiday / vacation home near Disney, Orlando. You’re putting a lot of money at risk during that time.
